The second annual exhibit of art works by some of the top tattoo artists from around the world will be presented at the 2008 London Tattoo Convention it. The exhibit will be curated by Jesse Lee Denning, owner and curator of a tattoo studio and gallery in New York City, Invisible NYC. London is a Mecca for contemporary art and artists, and the tattoo culture has become increasingly more sophisticated. Last year's initial annual exhibit was a great success and Jesse Lee Denning is sure to top it this year, drawing an even bigger audience. The creation of such an exciting and engaging exhibit featuring the following internationally renowned artists:

Although these artists all have very different styles and approaches to their art, they all successfully produce art outside of tattooing. The aim is to feature work that is not directly tattoo related. Of course there are influences in the art that can be linked to tattoo motifs or that could reflect that sensibility and aesthetic. But the goal of the exhibition is to highlight the fact that this art would stand on its own in a "fine-art" art gallery outside of the tattoo arena. A lot of people are quick to dismiss art created by tattooists and, although this is slowly changing, the goal of this exhibit is to prove this attitude wrong while at the same time encouraging people to buy and collect art.
