Highly acclaimed in the past editions, Les Soeurs Tribales came back to the London Tattoo Convention. Les Soeurs Tribales is the first Italian Tribal Bellydance group, an elegant and sensual dance that combines Oriental dance movements (belly dancing), Indian dance, flamenco and North African dances.
Its distinctive mark is group improvisation and performances. The term Tribal, which comes from the word tribe, fully expresses the philosophy this dance is based on: interaction, trust, and communication through the body are the key elements of tribal bellydance.
Les Soeurs Tribales are now busy with two shows: Oriental Fusion in cooperation with the dancer Malika Ferhat and the Compañia de Baile Canelas. A show on classical Oriental dancing, Arab folklore, tribal bellydance, fusion and experimentation dances, which made its debut in 2005. Devota. The show explores the devotion of the dancer who gives himself/herself totally to this art and that experiences his/her own life through dancing.
